Milled fuel peat is peat with higher decomposition stage which is produced by milling the peat from the surface of a bog. After drying, the peat is ridged and harvested.
Above all, milled fuel peat is used as fuel in big boiler houses.
The moisture content of milled fuel peat is 40–50% and the average calorific value is 2.8 MWh/t.
